After six months of planning, this is day 1. Following a few un-avoidable delays, we have 5 working days on site. Time to put it all together and see if it holds water. Our location is a small farm in Devon, where we have kindly been granted access for a week with the only requirement that we keep the 16,000 litre header tank (used for irrigation) full.
As the parts for the test rig have just arrived, the day has been given over to a site survey and first assembly. As you can see the 100+ threads have all survived and the rig has come together beautifully.
