Devon Site Day 2

Today we hooked up the existing Hydraulic Ram Pump to our sensor rig. The age of the existing pump, a 4” Blake Style Ram (supplied by Green and Carter), is unknown, but it is still beating strongly and with surprising regularity . We install flowmeters on both the hammer and delivery flows and after a few modifications we’re ready to go.

We have put together a good set of background data using the existing pump, over a range of settings and conditions so it has been a good second day.
